Four New Persona Games Announced, Including Persona 5

Last night, during Atlus’s Persona event in Japan, 4 new Persona games were announced. The biggest announcement was of course Persona 5, but other spin off games were announced as well. After the success of Persona 4: Golden, the Vita will be getting a rhythm/dance game called Persona 4: Dancing All Night. A sequel to the fighting game Persona 4: Arena will be also be coming titled Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold and finally a 3DS exclusive game, Persona Q was announced.

Persona 5 is a PS3 exclusive and is coming to Japan in Winter 2014. I’m positive that it will eventually make it’s way to other territories, but at the moment, no release date is set. Not much else is known right know about the game but people have definitely been waiting a long time for a brand new Persona game.

Persona 4 Dancing All Night, is an odd game coming exclusively to the PS Vita. The cast of Persona 4 and the music will be returning as well. It will be launching in Japan Fall 2014, but no other territories were announced.

Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold is a fighting game that has been announced for the PS3. It’s a sequel to the fighting game Persona 4 Arena and is making it’s way to Japan in Spring 2014.

The final game that was announced was Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. It is coming exclusively to the 3DS and is set to come out in Japan June 5 2014. Persona Q is the very first Persona game to be on any Nintendo console.
